Tim Connolly

So my friend's sister plays hockey and recieved this card at her banquet. She didn't want it so he gave it to her brother. Her brother not being a hockey fan gave to me and I gladly accepted it into my autograph collection. It is the first card Connolly has signed for a company as stated on the back of the card.

CCM All-American Prospects Game

While attending the first ever CCM All-American Prospects Game at the First Niagara Center, I had pleanty of autograph opportunities following the game. Hockey Hall of Famer and former Sabre Phil Housley and Miracle on Ice legend and former Sabre Rob McClannahan were coaches for the game. I got 2 cards signed by McClannahan (Silver also says "Gold '80") and 3 cards signed by Housley. Also to sign my game program was Anthony Louis and Frank Vatrano.

 Both of these 8x10s were signed at Dave and Adams Card World. As you can see, the top picture is just a closer picture of the bottom picture. I found that shocking that the NHL would make 2 of the exact same picture just one of the closer view.

R.I.P. Tim Horton

Today marks the 38 year anniversary of the death of legendary NHLer Tim Horton. Horton played for the Maple Leafs, Rangers, Penguins, and Sabres over his 24 years in the NHL. Horton won 4 Stanley Cups in his term. Here are 3 of his cards. The 1st card is from 1956. The last one is a picture from his last NHL game.
