A couple of nights ago I had the pleasure of driving up to Elma, NY and getting to play touch football game with 2012 Olympic Gold medalist Jordan Burroughs! Burroughs is a wrestler from New Jersey, who won the 2009 and 2011 NCAA wrestling title for Nebraska, then went on to win gold in this summers London Olympics. After we played football for about a half hour he went and grabbed some photos and signed them for us! Great night!
This blog will showcase some of our top Autographes and memoriablia! We are also now bringing you interviews with athletes! Enjoy!

Daredevil Tight Rope Walker Nik Wallenda did his first autograph appearance on the U.S. side of the Falls today at the Factory Outlet Mall on in Niagara Falls, New York. Hundreds of fans came to meet their hero as they flocked the signing. Unfortunately, security was very tight and only aloud Nik to stay for his scheduled hour and a half. He signed provided 8x10 and other items people brought. Some unique pieces were Newspaper articles, Paintings, posters, and t-shirts. For those of you who don't know who Nik Wallenda is, he is 7th generation tight top walker which originated by his Great Grand Father Karl Wallenda and the Flying Wallendas. Nik Wallenda most recentally crossed the world famous Niagara Falls on a 2-inch wire (Only 3 pennines wide!). Unfortunally I arrivied at the signing late and was unable to get a signature. However, I manged to get one of the 8x10 He was signing, unsigned. I hope I eventaully get to meet Mr. Wallenda as he is a very great guy and very inspirational. Here's the 8x10 he was signing today:

Robitaille played in 382 regular season NHL games, scoring 23 goals and adding 105 assists. Mike still resides in the Buffalo area and is part of the Sabres Alumni Association. Nelson Fox Baseball Bat
I was looking through my shed trying to find stuff to sell at our garage sale, and me and my dad came across my grandpas old bat. A Nelson Fox bat. We don't know when exactly it is from, but his playing career went from 1947-1965. Meaning that it is at least almost 50 years old. Great find!

Today my dad went to a yard sale while I was at school and found this signed Sabres puck for only $1. I've looked at for quite awhile and as you can see it's very old and the signature is now faded. From my studies, I believe it is signed by formor Sabres Coach Joe Crozier. If you have any idea who this is, please let me know. Thanks!

Trevor Petersen Interview and new Interview Annoucments!
We just finished another great interview with Caitlin from The Puck Stops Here ! This time with Trevor Petersen of the OHL Niagara Ice Dogs!
Despite not being drafted in the OHL draft Trevor Petersen has found a home with the Niagara Ice Dogs in the OHL. Peterson was determined to work hard and show the OHL what they had missed by passing home over, he worked hard and was able to get the attention of the Ice Dogs. Petersen and the Ice Dogs are battling it out for the OHL championship against the London Knights.
Trevor will have one more season in the OHL before his NHL draft year and will look to have a bigger role with the Ice Dogs next season and solidify his chance of getting drafted. Trevor is a solid two way player who has the ice and the skill to compete against the best. He's making a name for himself on a star studded Niagara Ice Dogs team!

(Campbell,Caitlin The Puck Stops Here)
1. Who has had the biggest influence on your life?
The biggest influence has been my parents, they have always been there for me whether things are going my way or not. They have taught me so much about growing up and being a good person outside of the rink which has really helped my character!
2. What are your plans for next season?
Next season I see myself having a bigger role with the ice dogs as the majority of the top 6 forwards are leaving. It is also my draft year next season (as I have a late birthday) so I am aiming for a 30-40 point season next year.
3. Your first fight in the OHL was against your high school friend Joseph Blandisi, what was it like fighting a former friend? Did you win?
Joe and I planned that fight as we both wanted to get our first OHL fight out of the way. It wasn't much of a fight, more of a wrestling match as we are still good buddies.
4. Looking back was not getting drafted in the OHL better for your career? (many players who had gotten drafted have yet to make their teams).
Not getting drafted was really difficult at the beginning, a lot of the teams were talking to me and telling me they would take me in one of the first 5 rounds. After not getting drafted I refocused on getting a NCAA school to take me on for next season Maine, UNH, and Quinnipiac all contacted me. Robert Morris ended up offering me a spot on the Niagara Ice Dogs and I felt coming to Niagara would be the best fit for me. So yes not getting drafted originally opened up more roads for me.
5. Whats it like playing/hanging out with players like Dougie Hamilton, Mark Visetin and Ryan Strome?
These guys are players who I can admire both on and off the ice. They are really great guys to have around and have taught me so much this season: From leading by example to giving me little tips here and there. Most importantly these gentleman have taught me to be mature and that you need to be loyal both on and off the ice.
6. At what age did you know hockey was your sport?
My dad laced me up around the age of 5 but my first year of house league hockey was pretty rough. That summer I enrolled in hockey schools and power skating lessons, the next season I came back and was a superstar from that moment I knew I wanted to play at the highest level of hockey possible! Hockey is such a unique sport, whenever I'm on the ice it just clears my mind and I feel so relaxed while doing what I love for a living.
7. What is your greatest hockey memory?
There have been a lot of great memories, but the ones that I remember the most are playing shinny with the buddies during summer break and skating on the out door rinks during the Christmas holidays. There's nothing better!
8. What is your favourite NHL team?
My favourite NHL team is the Chicago Blackhawks. Patrick Kane.
9. If you could meet any player past or present who would it be?
The biggest influence has been my parents, they have always been there for me whether things are going my way or not. They have taught me so much about growing up and being a good person outside of the rink which has really helped my character!

9. If you could meet any player past or present who would it be?
Wayne Gretzky, he is considered to be the best player to ever play the game. So I think it would be cool too meet him and hear what he would say about his greatest moments and memories throughout his career.
10. If you could play for any NHL which would it be and why?
Honestly playing for any NHL team would be a huge honour! My agent and I have already been contacted by a few teams and whenever a new team contacts us I get really excited and it just motivates me to work that much harder. Playing in the NHL would be a dream come true, and right now I'm all about making my dreams become a reality!

Maxim Lapierre
Well, the trip to Dave and Adams got even better. Before I had arrived someone opened a box of 2011/12 Hockey Pinnacle and pulled a jersey card of Maxim Lapierre. However, they didn't want the card so they told the worker to put it in the free box. Now this is a very rare occassion, having a jersey card in the free box. However, the worker, knowing I collect jersey cards, set it a side for me! It's numbered 477/499! Another great free card! It appears to be a piece of his Habs jersey!
Tony Romo
I was at my local Dave and Adams Card world searching through the free card box when I came across this! It's a numbered Tony Romo 178/999 Card! Not a bad find in the free box!

Ed O'Neil Interview
I receantly had the pleasure of interviewing Penn State and NFL alumnist Ed O'Neil! Mr. O'Neil is my football coach at my school and a really great guy to talk to! He kindly did a hand written interview for our blog so here it is:
1) When growing up, who was your biggest inspiration to play football?
When growing up my, my biggest inspiration was my brother Dan. Dan was 2 years older but always included me in any sporting event or game he was in. As a senior in High School he was an honorable mention for the All-American team as a running back. He recieved a full athletic scholarship to play at Villanoua University.
2) What was it like to coached in college by legendary football coach Joe Paterno and what was your greatest memory of/with him?
Being coached by Joe, who I consider, the greatest college coach of all time was an Honor. So many memories to share but that one that will stay with me happened last May when, after my father died, I recieved a handwritten letter from him in an envolope he personally wrote out the address. I had not played for him in 38 years and he had the class write a note of condolence for me.
3) What is the greatest moment you've had playing and coaching football?
In the 38 years I've played and coached there are too many great memories to record. But, one that does stick out is while coaching at Rutgers University, beating Penn State 21-16 in 1988.
4) If you could go back and change anything in your football career, what would it be?
As it would be for the most, the injuries that ended my career. After playing in 88 consecutive games, the injuries started and my career ended.
5) Do you still talk to any of your past teammates? If so who are you closest with?
We still have great communication with our teammates. Nut 1973 Heismann Trophy Winner John Cappelletti is who I remain closest to.
6) You have played in the NFL and coached in both the CFL and NFL Europe. Which league did you like the most?
All 3 leagues have their plusses. Playing in the NFL is a dream come true. Coaching in Europe allowed me and my family to see the sights of Europe they most likely would have never seen. And The CFL is so diffrent than American Football it was a great challenge.
7) Besides the two teams you played with in the NFL, what team do wish you had the chance to play for?
The team, of course, would be the Steelers. I grew up in Westren Pa. and the fact that the Steelers won 4 Supper Bowls during the time I was in the NFL would have been NICE
